Executive Lead for Pupil Premium


Role: Executive Lead for Pupil Premium

Pay Scale: L20-24

To start: 1st November 2020 – 31st October 2022 1-year fixed term appointment

Required for November an experienced Senior Leader, preferably vice -Principal, from within the Trust, who in addition to leading their own Academy will support on-going School improvement across the Trust, including the within their ‘home’ academy.

The role will include co-ordinating and leading the approaches to Pupil Premium within each school and across the MAT and delivering improvement – along with reviews at the schools to ensure the individual school approaches meet the Trust’s expectations.  The successful candidate must be an evidenced based leader, able to hold senior leaders to account with a strong moral purpose and high expectations of all learners.

The role will be capped at an average of 2 day per week and the successful applicant will be expected to use their time flexibly to meet the demands at both the Trust and their ‘home’ academy.

You will be expected to work closely with the Principals of each school, the CEO and the CFO and appraisal targets will be set in relation to this additional responsibility.

Training for the role will be through the NPQ suite of qualifications, as appropriate, and to be agreed with the CEO.
