Enrich Learning Trust have built a family of 6 schools across Norfolk. Over 500 colleagues work in support of over 4,000 children and young people within the Trust. We give our pupils the chance to discover their full potential and encourage them to be the best they can be. Our schools all have a relentless drive to challenge, develop and innovate to ensure that what they provide enables young people to become successful learners, confident individuals and responsible citizens. With a model based on support and empowerment within a framework of high accountability, we want our schools to be the best and inspire each child to discover the skills, talents and interests that lie within them.
We’re looking for an Executive Governance Coordinator to help us embed a set of policies and guidance that support our colleagues and pupils. Trustees and Governors often need support to deliver in their roles and sometimes need to respond to feedback. Our staff work within a number of compliance frameworks, such as Health and Safety and Data Protection. Working closely with the Executive Team, Head Teachers and Trustees, you will help us to ensure compliance as well as supporting high quality governance and guidance for local governors as they manage their schools. As first point of call for queries about policies you will provide excellent customer service to our colleagues and other stakeholders, using your knowledge, skills and experience to help address complex scenarios. Your proactivity and engagement will ensure that the Trust shapes policies and guidance which are fit for purpose.
You will have experience of supporting senior colleagues, responding to concerns and queries in writing and over the phone. You will be able to work confidentially and handle challenging conversations with confidence and sensitivity. You will be computer literate in MS Office, an excellent communicator, and committed to supporting Enrich Learning Trust to be an inclusive and caring organisation.
The Executive Governance Coordinator position could be delivered in a flexible way with working patterns agreed to suit the circumstances of both the roll and post holder. Regular governance meetings are held in the evenings and whilst attendance at every meeting is not required, the ability to attend evening meetings and support the Trustees needs effectively, including management of the clerking contract.
We value the differences that a diverse workforce brings and are committed to inclusivity across the organisation. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
“Enrich Learning Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.”
